The deal, in plain language

Terms of Service

No legalese maze — these are the actual terms of working together, written the way we'd explain them across a table.

Quotes & payment

Every project gets a fixed quote before work begins, and that number doesn't move unless you change the scope — in which case you get a new fixed quote before anything happens. Setup fees are due at launch approval; monthly fees are billed monthly in advance. Prices are subject to HST.

What the monthly fee covers

Hosting, SSL, monitoring, and content updates by request — text, prices, photos, hours, menu items — unlimited within fair use. New pages, new features, and redesigns are quoted separately.

The free preview

Homepage previews are provided free and without obligation. If you don't proceed, you owe nothing; the preview remains our property.

Ownership

Your domain name and your content are yours, always. On completion of payment terms, your website files are yours too — if you ever leave, we hand everything over cleanly.

Standard plan cancellation

Cancel anytime with 30 days' notice. Hosting ends at the close of the paid period and your files are provided to you.

$0-down plan

The $0-down option has a 12-month minimum term. If cancelled early, the balance of the year-one monthly payments becomes due — that's the trade for no setup fee. After 12 months, it converts to the standard plan and standard cancellation applies.

Our responsibility, honestly stated

We build carefully and host on world-class infrastructure, but no one can promise the internet will never hiccup. Our liability for any claim is limited to the amount you've paid us in the preceding 3 months. We're not responsible for your business outcomes, third-party services, or content you supply.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada. If something here needs discussing, talk to us first — we're reasonable people.
